Atomic Funnels

What does a done-for-you patient funnel look like for a busy clinic? (Pediatric therapy case study)

Short answer

A Phoenix pediatric therapy clinic supplied information up front and shot one video. Atomic Funnels ran the intake, wrote the copy, and built VSL-style landing pages and customer journeys with 50+ page variations to split-test. Dr. Connor was interviewed when the pages were finished, before launch, so no results are claimed. The clinic's ads are run by Atomic's marketing partner, Adsquad.

The business: a Phoenix pediatric therapy clinic with an audience already watching

The client is a pediatric therapy clinic in Phoenix, Arizona. The practice supports children with neurological and developmental challenges through individualized, non-invasive care focused on improving brain and body function. The owner, Dr. Connor, sees patients himself and runs the practice day to day.

Unlike most funnel projects, attention was not the bottleneck. The clinic had built a following on social media and was getting steady eyes on its content. In earlier years that was enough: parents found the page, worked things out for themselves, and reached out. As Dr. Connor described it in the interview, the market became more competitive and other practices started moving faster with AI and automation, so the clinic decided it needed a better experience for prospective patients rather than more reach.

That is a common starting point for practices and clinics: distribution exists, but nothing converts it. See patient-acquisition funnels for medical, dental and wellness practices for how that problem usually presents.

The problem before Atomic Funnels: no structured path for a parent

The clinic had no single place that presented the offer. A parent who found the practice on social media had to piece the story together from posts, reels and comments, then decide whether to call. Dr. Connor wanted the opposite: one place that gave families as much good information as possible and made the next step obvious.

"So they shouldn't be going and digging for information."

Dr. Connor

The second problem was capacity. Dr. Connor had previously signed up for programs built around teaching the owner how to do the work, and they did not survive a full patient schedule.

"And none of them really worked out too well for me just because I have a million and one things going on."

Dr. Connor

That combination, an audience with no conversion path plus an owner with no spare hours, is why the build had to be done-for-you rather than taught.

What Atomic Funnels built: intake, copy, VSL-style pages and 50+ variations

Atomic Funnels ran the intake, wrote the copy, and built VSL-style landing pages and customer journeys for the practice. Onboarding is answered by video or audio with no live call, and takes about 2 hours across three phases: credentials and assets, an offer-creation exercise, and an 18-question automated video interview. Dr. Connor supplied the information up front and shot the video. Everything after that was built by the 6-person team (copywriting, video editing, graphic design, frontend development, account management) inside a dedicated Slack channel.

The pages break down the treatment areas, the steps of care, what makes the practice different, call booking and FAQs. More than 50 page variations were built so the clinic can split-test flows, colors, video controls and page structure against real traffic rather than guessing.

"There's probably fifty something variations of this page that we're able to test and compare and look at conversions, look at some of the numbers in the back end to see what flows look better, what colors work better"

Dr. Connor

The method behind those variations is described in split-test funnel architecture.

What the client got (and why no results are claimed here)

Dr. Connor was interviewed on the day the landing pages were finished, with final edits outstanding and launch expected within a week or two. No results are claimed for this case study. There is no conversion rate, no revenue figure and no booking count, because traffic had not yet hit the pages at the time of the recording.

What the client had at that point: a completed set of VSL-style pages and customer journeys, the copy written for him, 50+ variations queued for testing, and a build he did not have to project-manage.

"Everything outside of that was was a hundred percent done for you."

Dr. Connor

The clinic's ads are run by Atomic's marketing partner, Adsquad (Justin Prince's team), not by Atomic Funnels. Atomic Funnels engineers the offer, writes the copy and script, and builds the funnel; the client or the client's media buyer drives the traffic that decides which variant wins. Results in Atomic's other case studies vary and are not typical or guaranteed.

What other practices and clinics can take from this build

The transferable lesson is that a practice with attention usually does not need more content. It needs one structured page that answers a parent's or patient's questions in order and then asks for the appointment.

"And I think that's what the main goal of a sales page should be, is is giving people information, giving people confidence to take that next step."

Dr. Connor

A practical checklist drawn from this build:

When a $10,000 done-for-you clinic funnel is the wrong call

Being honest about fit matters more than closing. A done-for-you build at Atomic Funnels' $10,000 minimum is probably not the right first move if:

Good fit looks like: a proven method, a working intake or sales process, someone to drive traffic, and a willingness to let a team build. Atomic works with 4-5 brands per month, so timing matters too. Pricing and add-ons are listed on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions

What results did the pediatric clinic get from its funnel?

None are claimed. Dr. Connor was interviewed on the day the landing pages were finished, before launch, so there is no conversion or revenue figure for this build. What is documented is what was delivered: the intake, the copy, VSL-style landing pages and customer journeys, and 50+ page variations for split-testing. Results in other Atomic Funnels case studies vary and are not typical or guaranteed.

Why build 50+ variations of one landing page?

Because traffic, not opinion, decides which version converts. Variables built as split tests include pricing and payment-plan framing, call-to-action and offer wording, VSL length, and headline and opening hook, along with flow, layout and video controls. The client scales the winning variant. For clinics buying paid traffic, testing variants is cheaper than spending months on a single guess.

What did the clinic owner actually have to do?

Supply the information up front and shoot the video. Onboarding is answered by video or audio with no live call and takes about 2 hours across three phases: credentials and assets, an offer-creation exercise, and an 18-question automated video interview. Clients then approve deliverables in Slack and record the webinar within 72 hours of receiving the script, in one long take on Zoom, Loom or Riverside.fm.

Does Atomic Funnels run ads for practices and clinics?

No. Atomic Funnels engineers the offer, writes the copy and script, designs and builds the funnel, and hands it over as a ready-to-run split test. The client or the client's media buyer drives traffic. For this pediatric clinic, the ads are run by Atomic's marketing partner, Adsquad. Clients without a media buyer can be introduced to that partner.

What does a done-for-you patient funnel cost and how long does it take?

The Atomic Funnels Accelerator is $10,000 all-inclusive, which is also the agency minimum. Typical delivery is 3-4 weeks. Optional split-test upgrades are decided on the strategy call: Light and Dark Mode (+$1,500), Short VSL vs Long VSL (+$2,000), 3-price-point pricing test (+$2,500), 5-price-point pricing test (+$3,500), Purchase vs Call Booking (+$2,500). Two funnels built at the same time get 20% off the second.

Is this approach suitable for dental, med spa or other wellness practices?

The pattern applies to any practice with a defined offer, someone to drive traffic and an owner willing to record one video. Atomic Funnels has also built a call-booking funnel for a dental-specific insurance agency (HIG Insurance). Compliance review of patient-facing claims stays with the practice. See the med spa and wellness clinic page for a closer look at booked-appointment funnels.

Who owns the funnel after it is built?

The client owns 100% of the assets, and everything is built in the client's own accounts (ClickFunnels 1.0, ClickFunnels 2.0, GoHighLevel or WordPress at no extra charge, plus email sequences in any email platform). Ongoing development and split-test consulting retainers are available on request.

Full interview transcript

So we've got doctor Connor here. He's got a practice. Came to Atomic Funnels to have his lead gen automated.

Tell us a little bit about your business and what you guys do over there.

Yeah. No. Absolutely.

So we own a pediatric therapy clinic here in Phoenix, Arizona.

We we've built some level of following on social media where we're getting a lot of eyes, we're getting a lot of attention.

And in the past, before, you know, social media is blowing up to what it is now, we've we've been a little bit luckier to have the sales process be a little bit easier, of people kinda finding our page and, know, running through things on their own. But now that the world is getting a little bit more competitive and a lot of especially in this new age of AI and automations, people are really making big runs with this. So we we we figured that we had to step up our game and figure out a better experience for for our patients to be able to give them as much information, as much good information, and also make their make the process from their end as easy as possible as well.

So they shouldn't be going and digging for information. They shouldn't be, you know, searching high and low to learn more about what we do outside of all of our social media presence. So that's why I really wanted to invest and and and give some money into and and some energy into building out some level of a sales page a sales process. The whole VSL style landing page, think, works absolutely awesome for for what we do.

And that's how I found John and Atomic Funnels. And, you know, I I went through their stuff. I watched their funnel, and it was amazing. All all the videos that they had ready and all the other kind of past clients that they've had, and and I checked some of their pages out, and it seemed really to align with what I was looking for.

And we we kinda jumped in right away, jumped in headfirst. We we got started within the day or so.

And the process of becoming a client for Atomic Funnels was was to get super easy, and this just made me more confident in all of the processes that they were building out for me.

And we we we kinda jumped right in. They have a great intake process where, honestly, with the copy that they were able to make and the information that was able to give them and the prompts they were able to give me to give to to so that they were able to use, I mean, it's it's unbelievable how they were able to build out copy for our page as well.

And part of the process or part of the reason why I loved working with with John Atomic Funnel so much is I'm a busy guy. I'm seeing patients. I'm doing a million and one different things.

And I've I've signed up for a couple of these things in the past where it's more of the you know, we'll teach you how to do it, and we'll we'll we'll we'll tell you, yeah, we'll do it for you, blah blah blah, to kinda get you get you on board. And none of them really worked out too well for me just because I have a million and one things going on.

But with Atomic Funnels, I mean, outside of me having to supply them with the information upfront to give them some of the more insight about our business, to shoot the video, Everything outside of that was was a hundred percent done for you. And that's kind of the biggest thing that I was looking for. And, honestly, it's made my life a lot easier in that regard because usually, I'm I'm used to kinda going back and forth and back and forth. But, I mean, once I was able to arm the team with the information, they they took it and they ran with it.

And if a question came up, they would ask, I would answer, and they would run with it. And and that's another thing that that that worked out really well was communication was great. I don't know if this I don't know if this whole team sleeps, to be honest. I can message the command.

Like, I I have random thoughts pop in my head at ten, eleven o'clock, and I'll get an answer in two seconds.

So it's it's pretty cool to see. Communication was great. We just finished rolling out our funnel or or or landing pages today. We have some final little edits here, then we're ready to go live here in the next, hopefully, week or two. We're working with the ad squad as well with Justin's team to kind of coincide with these funnels and and and and push everything out at a higher level as well. So super happy with with our experience, and I'm excited to see how all this ultimately helps our business, helps us grow, but more importantly, patients just have a better process with with coming to our clinic.

Yeah. And we really love what you guys do, so we wanted to sort of blow it out of the water. And we built a new system to produce a different design of landing pages. And we decided to put your system your customer journeys through it. So can you tell us a little bit about what you thought about the new landing pages? Maybe we can pull a couple of them up real quick. I'll do a screen share.

Yeah. I mean, we can pull them up. I mean, they're just you know, with with design these days, a lot of stuff gets a little cookie cutter because people just plug stuff right into AI, and they spit out pages in a second. And this one, I mean, we were able to deep dive, and it's it's authentic. It's real. It it just looks really, really good from a from an aesthetic standpoint, but from a functionality standpoint, you know, has has what families, I think, are looking for to be able to kind of check a page out. Let's learn more about what we do here.

Yeah. Where it breaks down all the different areas of of what we do with our treatments. We have all the steps listed out, all the images, some of the strategies, and what makes us a little bit different, and just being able to, you know, present this at a high level, you know, booking calls, FAQs.

Yeah. Where if a parent goes on this page, I'm I'm confident that they're gonna learn more things. They're they're gonna have a little bit more confidence. And I think that's what the main goal of a sales page should be, is is giving people information, giving people confidence to take that next step.

And, you know, I think there's, like I was going through our Slack channel. There's probably fifty something variations of this page that we're able to test and compare and look at conversions, look at some of the numbers in the back end to see what flows look better, what colors work better, what you know, having a a start and a stop button on a video. Is that better or is that it's, you know, it's it's it's pretty cool to see.

Yeah. Awesome, man. The these, I think, are honestly my favorite. There's, like, thirty AI agents that are all doing different tasks to create this one scroll interactive graphic.

And building this little the engine that creates this was a two month process.

Oh my gosh. But, yeah, I'm I'm super happy with the way that this came out. I think these pages are beautiful, and Yeah. I'm excited to see what Justin's team can do with them. But thank you so much for your time, man. I really appreciate it. I appreciate Yeah.

I appreciate you. Thanks thanks for you, for your whole team. You have a great team.

Made the process super straightforward and, you know, happy to happy that I found you guys and excited to see what's to come.
