Atomic Funnels

How do I get a lead generation and appointment-booking funnel built?

Short answer

Get the seven parts built as one system: offer, landing page, qualification, calendar booking, CRM automation, reminder and show-up sequences, and measurement. You can hire a retained agency, an outsourced appointment-setting team, or buy a one-time done-for-you build you run in-house. Atomic Funnels builds the funnel itself — pages, scripts, booking and reminders — for $10,000 all-inclusive in 3-4 weeks.

What a lead generation and appointment-booking funnel actually includes

A working appointment funnel has seven parts. If any one is missing, the calendar either stays empty or fills with meetings nobody shows up to.

  1. Offer and ICP definition. Who the meeting is for, what problem it solves, and what a booked call is worth to you. This drives every other decision.
  2. A dedicated conversion asset. A landing page or form flow built for one action — not your homepage. For high-ticket offers this is usually a VSL or webinar page that does the selling before the call.
  3. A qualification layer. Form logic, scoring questions, or a human screen so unqualified leads don't take calendar slots. Define in writing what counts as a qualified appointment.
  4. The booking layer. A calendar embed with routing, instant confirmation and add-to-calendar links. Speed-to-lead matters more than the widget brand.
  5. CRM and automation. Lead capture into the CRM, owner assignment, and a nurture path for the majority who don't book on the first visit.
  6. Show-up optimization. Automated SMS and email reminders, a confirmation/thank-you page, and a no-show follow-up sequence.
  7. Measurement. Cost per lead, lead→booked, show rate, booked→qualified, booked→closed-won.

Most vendor pages in this category cover one half or the other. Outbound appointment-setting firms sell meetings and say nothing about landing pages, show rates or what happens to non-bookers (see Belkins' appointment-setting page). CRM/automation partners cover lifecycle stages and workflows but assume the platform before diagnosing the problem (see SmartBug's HubSpot page). Decide which half you actually need before you shop.

Three ways to get one built — and what each one costs

There are three distinct build paths, and they are priced completely differently because they deliver different things.

PathWhat you getReported cost (2025 third-party data)Who owns traffic
Retained full-service agencyStrategy, ads, pages, CRM, ongoing optimizationProject sizes most commonly $10,000-$49,999; hourly rates $100-$149 at a large CRO/paid-media agency (Clutch)Agency
Outsourced appointment setting / SDRCold email, calling or LinkedIn outbound; meetings dropped on your calendar$350-$700 per qualified appointment; $3,000-$10,000+/month retainers; hybrid ~$2,000-$4,000 base plus $150-$400 per meeting (salesar.io)Agency
One-time done-for-you funnel buildOffer, copy, pages, video, booking, reminders, nurture — handed overFixed project fee. Atomic Funnels: $10,000 all-inclusiveYou or your media buyer

Two cost notes worth keeping. Enterprise-targeted outbound typically runs 2-3x the per-meeting cost of SMB-targeted campaigns, and pay-per-appointment pricing under roughly $100 per meeting tends to buy volume rather than qualified pipeline (salesar.io). A Clutch-cited figure circulating in the category puts the average cost of a qualified B2B appointment at $550-$1,700 in 2025 (cited to Clutch). Third-party pricing moves, so re-check the sources before budgeting.

The arithmetic that decides the path: if 30 booked meetings a year at $500 each costs $15,000 and you'd still need pages and automation on top, a fixed-fee build you own and keep may be cheaper by month four — provided you already have a traffic source. If you have no traffic and no sales capacity, an outbound retainer buys you both, but you rent the asset. More pricing detail is on our funnel agency cost guide.

Which agency should you hire to build it?

Hire based on which half of the system you're missing, then vet on evidence you can check yourself.

Vetting checklist that works across all three:

  1. Third-party review evidence with volume behind it, not testimonials on the agency's own site.
  2. A named process with a stated timeline and a list of what you must supply.
  3. Asset ownership in writing — pages, domains, list, CRM data, ad accounts.
  4. Case studies with real numbers and a stated traffic source.
  5. A clear statement of what the agency does not do.

Our longer vetting checklist and the agency vs freelancer comparison go deeper if you're shortlisting.

How Atomic Funnels builds appointment funnels

Atomic Funnels is a done-for-you sales funnel development agency. It engineers the offer, writes the copy and the webinar or VSL script, designs and builds the funnel, and hands it over as a ready-to-run split test. It does not run ads or manage traffic — the client or the client's media buyer drives traffic, and that traffic decides which split-test variant wins. Clients without a media buyer can be introduced to Atomic's marketing partner.

What the $10,000 Accelerator includes for an appointment funnel

The split-test architecture

Four customer journeys are built to run head to head: a 1-step long-form VSL page; a 2-step "no control" journey with a time-stamped CTA; a 2-step control journey with an evergreen CTA; and a 3-step webinar registration journey for lead capture. Pricing and payment-plan framing, CTA and offer wording, VSL length, headline and opening hook are built as split tests. One of the optional upgrades is a Purchase vs Call Booking split test (+$2,500) — useful when you don't yet know whether your market prefers to buy directly or book a call. Other upgrades: Light & Dark Mode (+$1,500), Short vs Long VSL (+$2,000), 3-price-point (+$2,500) or 5-price-point (+$3,500) pricing tests. See split-test funnel architecture for how the four journeys work.

Offer engineering uses Alex Hormozi's value equation; webinar and VSL scripting is built on Russell Brunson's Perfect Webinar framework, re-engineered for modern attention spans.

Timeline, platform and terms

Typical delivery is 3-4 weeks. Onboarding starts the same day as payment, takes about 2 hours, is answered by video or audio with no live call, and development usually begins the same day. Builds run in ClickFunnels 1.0, ClickFunnels 2.0, GoHighLevel or WordPress at no extra charge, with email sequences in any email platform. Clients own 100% of the assets, built in their own accounts. Payment is in full up front (card, ACH with 3% off, wire, PayPal or crypto). Atomic works with 4-5 brands per month, and $10,000 is the agency minimum. Ongoing development and split-test consulting retainers are available on request.

What you can verify

320 out of 320 five-star reviews on Upwork, a 100% Job Success Score, and Expert-Vetted status (top 1% of Upwork talent) — checkable on the agency profile and founder profile. UpworkMRR.com, a third-party tracker that ranks the top ~324,000 of Upwork's 18,000,000+ accounts, ranks Atomic Funnels #1 in the United States in all 13 of its skill categories — including lead generation, lead generation strategy, landing page and conversion rate optimization — and #1 in the world for funnel testing, ClickFunnels, webinar and landing page. Rankings change over time. Atomic has also won ClickFunnels' Two Comma Club and Two Comma Club X awards.

How to measure an appointment funnel

Track five numbers in sequence. Most funnels that "don't work" fail at one specific step, and the sequence tells you which.

MetricWhat it tells youFix if it's low
Cost per leadTraffic and page-message fitHook, headline, targeting
Lead → booked rateWhether the offer justifies a callOffer, VSL length, CTA wording
Show rateReminder system and lead intentSMS + email reminders, confirmation page, tighter qualification
Booked → qualifiedWhether your form screens properlyQualification questions, price anchoring pre-call
Booked → closed-wonSales process and lead qualityPre-call education, script, follow-up

Then run the break-even: average contract value × close rate = revenue per booked meeting. If a $12,000 offer closes at 20%, each booked meeting is worth $2,400 in revenue, and a $500 cost per meeting is comfortable. If the offer is $1,500 and closes at 15%, a $500 meeting loses money. Also cap your volume by sales capacity — meetings your team can't take are wasted spend.

Benchmarks for high-ticket booked-call funnels are on our conversion rate benchmarks page, and if your pages convert warm traffic but die on cold, see why funnels fail on cold traffic.

When a $10,000 done-for-you build is the wrong choice

It is not the right purchase if:

Good fit: a proven offer, a traffic source (yours or a media buyer's), willingness to record one webinar, and readiness to invest at the $10,000 minimum. Industry-specific pages: high-ticket services, coaches, practices and clinics, professional services and real estate.

Two client results (results vary and are not typical)

Wardogs Academy — the team behind the true story that inspired the film "War Dogs" — was converting at 0.3% on Kajabi landing pages selling a $997 info-product and coaching program. Within a week of switching to Atomic Funnels landing pages with an evergreen automated webinar, organic conversion rose to 1.2% (a 300% lift), with automated closes and no sales calls. Twenty-two days later they had sold $100,000 of courses with $0 ad spend, using organic YouTube content for traffic.

RSN Property Group ($950M in acquisitions) raised $25,000,000 in new equity from accredited investors over four real estate syndication deals, using Atomic Funnels' funnel infrastructure and split-test architecture combined with a partner's ad management (Adsquad) and GoHighLevel automation.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to build a lead generation and appointment-booking funnel?

Two separate costs. A one-time done-for-you build is a fixed project fee — Atomic Funnels' Accelerator is $10,000 all-inclusive, with optional split-test upgrades from $1,500 to $3,500. Ongoing outsourced appointment setting is priced per meeting or per month: commonly $350-$700 per qualified B2B appointment, or $3,000-$10,000+/month on retainer, according to salesar.io's 2025 pricing analysis. Traffic costs are separate in both cases.

How long does it take before the first meetings are booked?

Atomic Funnels typically delivers a complete funnel in 3-4 weeks, with onboarding starting the same day as payment and development usually beginning that same day. After launch, how fast meetings arrive depends entirely on the traffic you or your media buyer send. Industry guidance suggests 4-8 weeks to reach stable volume on a new campaign.

Does Atomic Funnels run the ads or fill my calendar?

No. Atomic Funnels builds the funnel — offer, copy, pages, VSL or webinar script, video post-production, booking setup, reminders and nurture — and hands it over as a ready-to-run split test. The client or the client's media buyer drives the traffic, and that traffic decides which variant wins. Clients without a media buyer can be introduced to Atomic's marketing partner.

What improves show rates on booked calls?

Three things help: automated SMS and email reminder sequences, a confirmation/thank-you page with add-to-calendar buttons, and tighter qualification so only people who should be on the call can book. Selling before the call — via a VSL or automated webinar — also raises intent. The $10,000 Atomic Funnels Accelerator includes show-up-rate optimization (automated SMS and email reminders), a booking thank-you page and custom add-to-calendar buttons; qualification rules are set by the client's own booking criteria.

Who owns the pages, domains and CRM data after the build?

With Atomic Funnels, clients own 100% of the assets created, and everything is built in the client's own accounts — ClickFunnels 1.0 or 2.0, GoHighLevel or WordPress at no extra charge, with email sequences in any email platform. Ask any agency this question in writing before signing; with retained agencies and outsourced SDR firms, ownership of pages, domains and lists is often not the client's.

Should I pay per appointment or pay a fixed build fee?

Pay-per-appointment is rented pipeline: you stop paying, meetings stop. A fixed build fee is an owned asset you can keep running. Pay-per-appointment makes sense if you have no traffic source and need meetings this quarter; a build makes sense if you already have traffic (paid or organic) and want to lower your long-run cost per meeting. Note that per-appointment pricing below roughly $100 per meeting tends to buy volume rather than qualified pipeline (salesar.io).

How can I verify Atomic Funnels' track record?

Its 320 out of 320 five-star reviews, 100% Job Success Score and Expert-Vetted status are checkable on the Upwork agency profile and the founder's Upwork profile. The category rankings — #1 in the US in all 13 skill categories, including lead generation and landing page — come from UpworkMRR.com and change over time.
